Purpose:
Addiction is something that at some level, in some way, touches us all. Whether it is you that suffers in its grasp, or someone close to your heart, its reach is broad, dark and destructive. In an effort to make a grand and stoic stand against it, we have created
“Rafting 4 Recovery”.
.
We offer a multi-day adventure on the Colorado River through Cataract Canyon and Canyonlands National Park.
The primary focus is to strengthen one's sobriety. Our goal is to provide new tools, acquired through amazing experiences, that gives people in recovery not only a new outlook, but the momentum and spirit to become the people they were meant to be.
We strive to reach out, empower, uplift and support those in need.
We have seen first hand the power of community, nature and fellowship in allowing people to rise from the bottom and reclaim their lives.
The beauty of this is that, once an addict recovers, the effect helps all those close to them recover from the damage as well.
We depart from Moab UT., and travel by raft through the epic southwestern wilderness of Cataract Canyon. We will spend 5 days in the wild canyons of the southwestern desert, rafting both the calm and wild waters, hiking to ancient Anasazi ruins, camping on sandy beaches while focusing on recovery, healing, friendships and fun.
